grizzly 550 e error code fix

my neighbor swapped his grizzly 550 battery and now the dash just shows a big "E" nothing else no other lights or codes pretty sure that's not normal anyone know what's causing this or how to reset it looking for fixes that have worked before

It's electrical yes. Usually it's due to bad connection in the battery swap. @diplomaticdave said all of the deets you need like correct the voltage and fully charge it btw. Check also the fuses if there are ones blown. Also get a scanner for yourself so you know for sure and we also know what exactly we can say to help.

yup, it's definitely a battery problem. you should check if it's properly connected and secure. also check if the terminals are clean and not corroded

That "E" means voltage or ECU glitch but that's only due to the battery so you have no major issue right there. Try to disconnect the battery then reset the system after a couple of minutes. If that doesn't work, go to the dealer.
