Best tire option for 2WD ATV with 8-inch rims

Our youngest rides a 2WD ATV that currently has Carlisle Trail Pros on the back and I'm thinking of replacing them with Kenda Bearclaws. I know snow tends to pack into the tread, while mud tires behave differently, I am not sure what performs best with 2WD, any advice please?? Rim size is 8 inches.

Bearclaws are good upgrades for traction but but they can also pack up in snow like most aggressive treads. Llighter tires with good bite like Bearclaw EVO might help with control and reduce spinning.

Honestly, for a 2WD ATV, mud tires like Kenda Bearclaws are often overrated, most riders would get better overall performance sticking with all-terrain tires, since deep snow and extreme mud are rarely daily challenges

Thanks for the insight, I'll look into the Bearclaw EVO for better control and less spinning in snow. Do you think it'll handle mud as well on 2WD 8-inch rims?

That's an interesting point, do you think sticking with all-terrain tires would give enough traction for occasional mud and snow without constantly swapping tires on a 2WD ATV?
