Faulty engine after upgrade, help

I recently upgraded my grizzly with a higher compression piston and a camshaft upgrade and ever since the mods, it's been a nightmare to start, the starter struggles to turn over with the increased compression. I'm wondering if this is a sign the starter's on its way out or if I need to go with a more heavy duty unit, like you would in a car with higher compression? I've already swapped out a couple of starter relays, and I can hear the relay clicking, but the engine still doesn't turn over easily. anyone can help with this ?

You're overloading the stock starter with those mods, calm down with it, you need a high torque, high compression starter because the regular ones can't handle the extra load, so stop wasting time and get the right one to fix the issue

the starter's just having a hard time keeping up with the new compression cos it might not be worn out yet, just not strong enough anymore for the job. A beefier starter could help for sure, some also add a second battery or upgrade their cables for a bit more juice

Agree with this. @Auld.lang.syne stop it with the mods that are just too much. Whenever you do mods, you always have to account for other parts. Don't do that to your Grizz.
