Grizzly won't start, starter button clicking, help please

So I'm working on my neighbor Susan's 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 400 for her since she can't get it started. The starter button does nothing but make a clicking sound, even after I installed a new solenoid and starter relay. She's been pull starting it with the recoil rope, but that's not exactly convenient for her daily rides. I'm thinking it might be a ground connection issue somewhere in the system. What do you guys think could cause this kind of problem?

@pippo^^ have you tried testing the battery voltage while trying to crank it?
a battery can show decent voltage at rest but immediately drop too low under load if it's weak or old.
even if it's relatively new, it might not be putting out enough cold cranking amps for a robust start

Have you made sure the main ground from the battery to the frame is clean and tight?, if you haven't, do so. But if that is good, check the ground going to the starter belt itself

I haven't tested voltage under load yet so I'll grab a multimeter and check that first. The battery's only a year old, but Susan said it sat for a while last winter. I'll also clean up the frame ground and trace the starter ground just to be sure nothing's loose or corroded. If it's a weak battery, we'll swap it out this week and see if that gets her back to push-button starts.

I agree with what @p@st@_frk and @queens.gamb1t suggested.
That clicking is usually a sign of weak battery, and I'd start by checking its voltage.
If it's low, throw it on a charger, but if the battery is solid, then yeah, check the main ground wire from the battery to the frame and clean up those connections.
