shaking power steering

My 2017 Grizzly 700 shakes in the front when i go over 50km per hour. its got over 11k km on it. i got new ball joints and bushings for the suspension but the shop says they are fine. i dont buy it with all those miles on rough roads. they say i need a new power steering actuator a $2400 Yamaha part. i think the mechanics full of it and just wants my money. What do you think?? the shaking only happens above 55 km/hr on hard roads. it stops if i speed up or slow down but its dangerous when it hits.

seems like classic front end wear to me, not a power steering issue. 11K km on rough roads, I'd bet your bushings, ball joints, or tie rods have some play, even if they "look fine." perhaps check your wheel bearings and alignment?, even tire balance too, because what?! no way I'd drop $2400 on a power steering actuator without ruling out all the basics first.

Tie rods or shocks need checking, too. And by the way, power steering that price is too much you can even buy a new bike for that price LOL. Don't let them smooth-talk you.

have you tried getting into a test drive with a mechanic so they'll know exactly where and when the shaking happens. Best of luck!

usually it's bcs of unbalanced tires. if you want to repair it yourself, you need to balance the tires using a bubble tool or balance beads
